This paper studies on the wastewater from Flurtamone (FT) production. The wastewater is characterized by high concentration of organic material, part of which is hard to be degraded by microbes. According to its characteristic, a group of processes (pretreatment + UASB + contact oxidation process) are adopted to dispose this wastewater. When CH2O2/CFe2+≈8(11101 ratio), CH2O2/COD≈1g/g, and pH=3-4, the Fenton reagent can remove 36% of COD in the mixed wastewater, and improve its biodegradability at the same time; according to the ratio of CH2O2/COD(mol ratio) ≈ 0.30, H2O2 was added in the effluent of the microelectrolysis of iron and carbon, which can remove 41% of COD in the mixed wastewater and improve its biodegradability, too. When the first step wastewater was dispose by the SBR, under the condition of COD=2388-5480mg/L and HRT=23h, the average removal rate of COD reached 94.88%; when the mixed wastewater was treated by the contacted oxidation process, under the condition of COD=1297-2089mg/L and HRT=40h, the average removal rate of COD was 82.39%.When the group processes of microelectrolysis + H2O2 oxidation method, UASB and the contacted aerobic process are adopted to treat the mixed wastewater, under the condition of COD=6067-10244mg/L, HRT of UASB is 24h, and HRT of oxidation process is 33.78h, the removal rate of COD of UASB is 62.81%, the removal rate of COD of the aerobic process is 78.24%, and the total removal rate of COD of is 91.94%. When the volume load of UASB is higher than 10 kgCOD/(m3·d), the removal rate of COD of UASB decreased and the total removal rate of COD is almost the same.Pretreatment added to the biochemical processes can increase the total removal rate of COD by 3.09%, and reduce the COD concentration by 200mg/L in the effluent.
