The catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method has been studied on and the trace Cr and Pd in new systems have been determinated with a catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method in this thesis. There are six chapters in this thesis.The fundmentals in regard to kinetic analytic method and catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric method are differently discussed in chap.1 and chap.2, and the singnificance, classification, applied value and investigate actuality, development direction of these methods are also discussed. Chap.3 and chap.5 are summarizes on the determination of trace chromium and trace palladium by catalytic kinetic spectrophotometry.Catalytic kinetic spectrophotometric determination of trace chromium sensitized by microemulsion medium has been studied in chap.4. The method is based on the catalytic oxidation of nuclear fast red in Hac-NaAc buffer solution and studied the influence of the reaction. The linear range is 0~0.0480 μg·mL-1. The detection limit is 1.62×10-9 g·mL-1. The method has been applied to the determination of chromium in water and food samples, the relative standard deviation is less than 4.6%, and the recovery is 93.5~104.4%. The results are satisfactory.Catalytic kinetic spectrophotometry with dahlia violet determination of trace palladium after separation and concentration by sulfhydryl dextran gel has been studied in chap.6. The good linear range has been obtained in the concentration range of Pd over 0.001~0.028 μg·mL-1 with a detection limit of 5.89×10-10 g·mL-1. The method has been successfully applied to the determination of palladium in ore and soil sample, the relative standard deviation was calculated less than 5.0%.
