Hot rolling steel rebar which is used in architecture mostly is one of the most important steels. The mechanical property of the rebar has a long distance between in our country and in the developed country of steel. So it is especially important to improve technique and enhance the mechanical property of the rebar, in order to fulfill the request of the market and up to the international standard as soon as possible. This paper aimed at this actually, on the base of the analysis of theory, local test and study in lab, the HSLA rebar is opened out and both the finite water-cooling technique and the self-heating quenching technique are brought forward to enhance the mechanical property of rebar.This paper starts with the intensified mechanism of the steel and the control cooling after rolling is thought a lot of, because of the self-characteristics which the rolling pass is fastness and the rolling is completely tandem rolling. The finite water-cooling technique based on the grain refining and the self-heating quenching technique based on the phase transition are opened out after the analysis to the traditional rolling technique. The effect of the chemical constitution and the parameter of the control rolling and cooling technique to the mechanical property is analyzed after which the idea is determined.The effect of the chemical constitution to the mechanical property is heavy by the analysis of correlation. This effect changes with the alteration of the hardness of cooling. Associate with the analysis of the percent of pass of the product, the range of the content of C, Mn, Si and Ceq is optimized.The effected regularity of both the control rolling parameters (deforming degree, heating-up temperature, starting rolling temperature, temperature of in and out finish rolling, temperature after rolling and so on) and the control cooling parameters (interval time after rolling, water pressure of cooling, water flow meter of cooling, cooling time, cooling medium and so on) to mechanical property. Moreover the relativity is analyzed and the key parameter is fixed on.
