The machining process of the chamfering on the components of the gearbox and automobile sychronizers is one of the key working procedures of the gearbox and automobile synchronizer manufacture which influence the performance of shift. The setup time is long and the manufacturing accuracy is low because of the lack of theoretic support. This pager aim at the machining process of manifold gear chamfering, the main content and achievements is:Fristly, the current investigation about this problem is analysed and some key question is put forward in this pager. The conclusion of the investigation is that the structure and performance of the chamfering machine is relative to the machining and adjusting. To solve the problem of adjusting the chamfering machine, this pager redefines the coordinate axis and builds the arithmetic which is used to complete the conversion from the theoretics adjusting parameters to machine adjusting parameters.The geometric model of the chamfering machining process is founded as the result of study of the mechanism and shaping process of the chamfering. Base on the model the relation between the cutting tool adjusting parameters of the chamfering machine and the geometric parameters of the even-dissymmetry chamfering and global chamfering forms is investigated. The algorithm on which the adjustment parameters can be worked out according to the geometric parameters of the chamfering is derivated. Then build the Simulation system to achieve the parameters calculation and machining simulation.At last, for a broad application of this system, a new chamfering parameters calculation and simulation system which based on the web system is built to let the clients get the service from network.
