EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) problem become more and more severe due to wide use of electronic equipment along with the rapid development of technology, so attention is highly paid to the EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility) of electronic equipments. Shielding which is an important way for EMC design is used in most of equipments. In this way, electromagnetic energy is held in the shield because of the reflection of the electromagnetic wave. But in this case, the inner electromagnetic energy of some area in the shield is increased, sometimes even resonance is induced. Through attaching some absorbing material which absorbs the electromagnetic wave in the inner shield can make up for the disadvantage. This thesis first introduces the shielding method and its disadvantage, and then different absorbing material is discussed, after that theory deduction and numerical simulation for different absorbing material with different size and position are studied to present the its effect for EMC, which is of great use in project application. Finally, the model with absorbing material is optimized concerning its cooling and EMC problem.
