Flatness is one of the most important factors when evaluating the quality of cold rolled strip. It is very important to control and improve the flatness of strip to meet the continuous increasing demand for the good quality. The tension levelling technology is one of the important methods to eliminate shape defects and improve the quality of strip. Because the course of tension levelling referred many questions of tension leveling and elasticity resume and so on, the distortion is extremely complicated, how to describe this distortion process exactly and quantificational become the key. So the research of this paper has very important significance of academic and practical.This paper separately in the ideal elastic-plastic plane strain and the linear strengthening elastic-plastic plane strain supposition condition, considered the influence of random initial deficiency of strip (initial remaining stress),has worked out the midst tier displacement quantity and the midst tier longitudinal strain formula of the different pattern of stress distribution and has analyzed its boundary condition of stress distribution. Has extracted the boundary condition which the strip overall plasticity extends, duplicate has carried on the discussion to the strip tension levelling process elongation ratio and the tensility and the curving curvature relations as well as the curving curvature and the curving resume. The tension levelling theory formula which above infers applies to the strip tension levelling quantitative analysis, considered the initial remaining stress along the board width traverse value, has established the reflection tensility, the curving curvature, the elongation ratio, the stress and the strain change relations, curving resume corresponding procedure. Analyzed the influence of the strip interior remaining stress distribution after the strip thickness changed, the tensility and the curving curvature match relations changed in tension levelling.In this paper, quantitative analysis of arbitrary initial deficiency was realized. The flatness of strip was improved that was illustrated quantificational according to the simulation. And established the basement to set and adjust the matching of the tension and bending curvature of the bending rolls. The new theory and method which could set the straightening processing parameters and design the straightening device were put forward according to this paper. And the theoretical basis was founded and the new calculated method was provided for the future research.
