| Because of amounts of high performance for magnesium alloys, they have widely used perspective. However, magnesium alloys have poor formability due to the hexagonal close-packed (HCP) crystal structure. So, it is very important to develop plastic formation technology. In this paper, the influence of rolling processing on microstructure, crystal orientation and mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheet was investigated.In order to get plate of excellent performance, we studied how the rolling temperature and rolling gate influence the performance of the AZ31plate and found that when the rolling temperature was 300 and the reduction of one pass was 20% we can get the plate of thin and even crystal grain, the mechanical property was excellent. The simple tension test showed that when the initial strain rate was 2mm/min and the distortion temperature was from 150℃to 350℃, the yield strength and tensile strength dropt obviously, the other parameters such as the yield ratio dropt from 0.847 to 0.688, the strain-hardening exponent dropt from 0.205 to 0.054, the plastic strain ratio dropt from 0.858 to 0.012. Colligate these factors we found the AZ31 magnesium plate had preferable drawing performance when the temperature was 220~280℃. At last the mould was designed by the antitype of some kind of notepad. The study of the technology parameters such as drawing temperature, drawing speed, block holder pressure, lubricate condition showed that when the mould clearance was 1.6mm, drawing temperature was 220~280℃, the block holder clearance was 1.16, the block holder pressure was 2 ton we can formed a qualified notepad shell of the fillet radius of 2.4mm. |
