The project of waste haulage in strip mine is a very important productive tache during the opencast working, which influence enterprise's economic benefit directly. And so optimize the project of waste haulage is an important method to get efficient economic benefit. It is an important topic to transforms this traditional industry that our mining industry systems engineering workers should do under the new situation with the combination of computer technology and optimized decision-making method.WuLongQuan mine of The Wuhan Steel Corporation is an strip mine, the capability of the junkyard does not enough now, which affect the production normally carries on. With surveying the actual production situation comprehensively, the junkyard's position and the craft have already developed ripely and stably, the primary factors which affect this open-air mine optimization as follows: the transportation distance of the scrap rock, the road grade, the different craft of the waste haulage, the friction coefficient of transport machinery itself and the path, and the loose coefficient. In addition, work level of this mine is lower at the current, the work plan mainly depends on the experience estimate, which does not have the system programming of the direction and the flux of the rocks, it was contained certain blindness and restricted the optimization of waste haulage, and so affected the economic benefit of the mine. In this thesis, it was emphasized on the method of systemic and holistic. Base on the background of the selected topic, firstly, we introduce the method of the optimization of waste haulage in and abroad summarily, and then establish the model of the mine block, which turn the process of the mining in the strip mine into this opinion that it seems as excavating some blocks. Thirdly, establish the linear programming mathematical model with the condition that makes the least work during the transportation. All the rocks in the boundary should be optimized, and it will be confirmed how much percentage of each rock goes toward to which scrapheap, the way and the quantity, totally. After the plan selects the short-term (for example some month) picks the exhausted region, divides to in short-term plan area clod into a smaller module and utilizes 0-1 integer plan the thought, with the actual restraint condition, at last, it must be optimized the rocks again with the integer programming, which takes the warp with the whole plan as the goal. Done these, science and accuracy of the result in the overall linear programming will be further confirmed simultaneously.
