| In the paper, by comparing with the domestic and foreign disposal methods of municipal solid waste (MSW), pyrolysis and combustion processes of MSW have been discussed to have the characteristics of reduction, harmness and resource. In order to offer parameters to design and operate the incinerator, it is necessary to study the characteristics of pyrolysis and combustion of MSW. Pyrolysis and combustion and their gaseous product of seven kinds of typical MSW are found out by the experiments of thermogravimetric analyzer and mass spectrometer. The results show as follows:(1) The characteristical parameters are given out during MSW pyrolyzes as follows: the beginning temperature of quick weight loss, peak value of weight loss, beginning temperature of slow weight loss and weight loss rate of pyrolysis in different temperature etc.The kinetic parameters of pyrolysis are calculated with Freman-Carroll method .And it can be concluded that the processe of gases generated such as H2, CH4, C5H8, H2O, C2H4, CO, C2H6, CO2 and C4H8.(2) The process of combustion can be separated into two phases, namely the combustion of volatile and fixed charcoal. At the same time, the firing temperature burnt over temperature and time can be gained and the kinetic parameters of combustion are calculated with Freman-Carroll method.(3) A method used to determinate firing temperature is developed : by the thermogravimetric analysis and mass spectrometer, according to the apperence of peak in the curve of temperature and the apperence of characteristic peak of CO2, the firing temperature is get. |
