Several kinds of import cold rolling emulsified oil have been analyzed, and one kind of new rolling emulsified oil has been rearranged. The relation between the emulsifier dosages and functions such as emulsion stability and resistance to rust has been found out, and pentaerythritol double laurate has been synthesized.The functions on the cold rolling emulsified oil from Holland Quaker Kuike and Japan Chuguang, such as acid value, saponification value, viscosity, freezing point, emulsification property and so on, have been tested respectively. The locale production has been monitored. The primary compositions of several kinds of import emulsified oil have been analyzed by infrared spectrum. That can be seen, the lubricating ability is not good when the saponification value is lower, that increases the load of the rolling mill and wastes energy resources. The steel plate purity is not good when the viscosity of emulsified oil is high excessively, that affects the steel plate quality. When the freezing point is higher, the cold rolling emulsified oil doesn't suit in north winter. From the results of the tests and the summaries of locale monitor, the method approaching the scene more and testing resistance to rust more rationally has been found out, with considering the various factors, such as the air, the humidity and the temperature.The dimensions of cold rolling emulsion particle diameter were measured by high-multiple microscope. The relation of emulsifier dosages and the emulsion of the stability, resistance to rust has been examined. It has been put forward, that emulsion particle size could be controlled through the emulsifier dosages besides of the factors of equipment and stirring. Consequently emulsion stability and rust protection have been controlled.Stannous oxide catalyst has been prepared with stannous chloride. The pentaerythritol four oleate has been synthesized with the pentaerythritol and the oleic acid on the condition of stannous oxide as the catalyst. Pentaerythritol double doudecanoec acid ester has been synthesized on the condition of 210°C with stannous oxide as catalyst. Pentaerythritol double doudecanoec acid ester has been examinated with the infrared spectrum.
