The semiconductor photocatalytic oxidation technique is a kind of new modern water treatment. It has been paid more and more attention for the advantage of utilization of natural energy—solar energy, less energy cost, mild reaction condition, easy operation and less secondary pollution and has bright future. In recent years, the photocatalytic oxidation technique of TiO2 has become the highlight in the photochemistry and environmental protection. Its application in water treatment has been reported in many literatures.This dissertation summarized the mechanism of semiconductor photocatalysis techniques, the influencing factors of semiconductor photocatalytic activity and the preparation of modified nano-titanium dioxide, and reviewed in detail the study on development and application of visible light-activated semiconductor photocatalysts.In this paper the TiO2 and BiVO4 photocatalyst is doped with non-metal elements to low its band-gap to utilize the visible light (400-700nm)and the process of preparation is very simple and easy to be industrialized.A visible-light driven photocatalyst TiO2 was prepared in our lab, which is doped with Ni2+ ions and Cl by hydrolyzation synthesis,and BiVO4 , which is doped with Co by uniformly sedimentation and...
