According to incomplete Statistic, about 7×105 tons of dyes and pigments were produced and 10% of these dyes was discharged into industrial wastewater. This kind of wastewater has complex components, high content of organic substance, low biodegradation, so the traditional process such as adsorption, flocculation, air bearing can not treat the wastewater to a satisfying effect. Study on the new process of treating wastewater is still the emphasis of the environment and science researchers in and out of China. In this paper, a new electrochemical disc was devised, to some extent, which improved the transfer speed, reduce thickness of diffusion layer, increase the mass transfer and DO in the electrolyte, and then advanced the efficiency of the electrode reaction and solve the mass transfer problem under low concentrations. The removal efficiency and mechanism of simulated wastewater with electrochemical disc have been investigated systematically. The main contents of this paper are as follows:The removal efficiency of reactive KN-G with rotating electrochemical disc , electrolytic flocculation disc and rotating electro - oxidation / electrolytic flocculation disc process was studied. Voltage, rotating speed, pH value and reaction time that most influenced the color removal were studied, and the optimum reaction conditions were also confirmed. The optimum conditions of electro - oxidation disc process were 22V for...
