Explosive welding plate of Ti/Steel is importantly used in the fields of Astronomical and Nuclear industries, Manufacturing this kind of explosive welding plate with much more secure, much more sealed properties and superb bonding strength is becoming one of the key technique with which we breakthrough the limit of materials construction. It usually appears unbonded in detonator district and destroyed in other boundaries in explosive welding, which affected bonded quality seriously. Eligible bonded product depends on how to select explosive welding parameters.Aim for the problem above, the paper further discusses dynamic process on the basis of different shape and distant in explosive welding. A new method to optimize the parameters of explosive welding by numerical simulation is put forward. At the same time, it analyzes and researches experiment phenomenon such as boundary effect and adiabatic shear line and so on by experiment. The studied result is obtained.The main research findings and new outlooks are as follows:With simulating welding process, the various condition of stress, strain, speed, displacement in composite board of large area has clearly been acquainted. Since simulation result and circumstance in reality that numerical are similar, they may be consulted and used for reference. After simulating welding process, corresponding measure will be taken against preventing the unbonded and crack. It is beneficial to improving welding quality of composite board and composite rate, reducing the cost, and improving a productivity effect.Explosive welding processes of different shape and size board are simulated. The result show that on condition that shape and size are seriously required, the board is wanted as far as possible the width and length is equal or a tremendous difference, which can avoid producing the district of unbonded area, so as to improve the composite rate.
