Fluorinated surfactant is a special surfactant. Its unique performances are summarized as"tri-high"and"bi-phobic", i.e. high surface activity, high thermodynamically stability, high chemistry stability, hydrophobic and oleophobic. In this paper, we studied the preparation and properties of fluorinated surfactant taking sodium perfluorooctanoate (SPFO) as an example. It would increase new application areas of fluorinated surfactant through my work.Fluorinated surfactants are different from hydrocarbon surfactants which have a series of unique physical and chemical properties and unique interface activity, but their prices are higher. For these reasons, this paper studied their properties of combination with fluorinated surfactant and hydrocarbon surfactant. By measuring interface tension, we could know the mixture have so high surface activity and the ability of reducing the tension of interface of oil and water. By using the orthogonal design, the optimized process conditions for preparing emulsion of simulation oil could be determined. For preparing water-in-oil emulsion, the ratio of oil to water is 1:1(g:g), HLB is 6.5, the emulsifying agent with Span-60 and Tween-80 is 1.2% for total quality. For preparing oil-in-water emulsion, oil-water ratio is 8.15:40.0 (g:g), HLB is 13.217, the emulsifying agent with Span-80 and Tween-80 is 0.18% for total quality. At the same time, this paper studied demulsification of crude oil emulsions. The combination of fluorinated surfactant and hydrocarbon surfactant is better than any single surfactant of them. So this combination could become a new and efficient demulsifier of crude oil. When fluorinated surfactant and hydrocarbon surfactant is mixed, it could be changed for interface chemical properties. For studying its assistant detergent performance, SPFO and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulphates ammonium (AES) are mixed. The paper synthesized AES used sulfamic acid and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (AEO) under the catalyzer of urea. By analyzing the orthogonal design and hand feeling and pliability of cleaned cashmere, the optimized process conditions for preparing AES-10 could be determined. AES is synthesized in the mole ratio of 1.0:1.6(mol:mol) between sulfamic acid and AEO at 110℃for 2 hours. For preparing AES-20, it could be determined that the mole ratio of1.0:1.6(mol:mol) between sulfamic acid and AEO at 105℃for 1.5 hours. Different evaluated methods are used, such as surface tension measurement, emulsifying power measurement, degree of whiteness, degrease rate, decontaminative rate and hand feeling. It is proved that cashmere cleaning performances with the combination of sodium perfluorooctanoate and AES are better than any single surfactant of them. This combination could enhanced washing effect, reduce surfactant's cost, obtaining optimization application, and it would have a good market in the future.
