Chemical auxiliary viscosity reduction is one of the important methods of EOR. In this paper, some physical simulation research of viscosity reduction agent for flooding were carried through, for the geologic properties and physicochemical property of the heavy oil reservoir. The studies include the valuation for some properties of viscosity reduction agent and the experiment on viscosity reduction agent flooding in the Alaxin cores. The valuation experiment for some properties of viscosity reduction agent include compatibility, Interfacial tension oil-water and effect on the viscosity. The experiments of viscosity reduction agent flooding in the Alaxin cores study the effects of the viscosity of the concentration, injection volume, injection opportunity injection mode, temperature of viscosity reducer solution with fresh and waste water on recovery efficiency. The result of the core experiment shows: the flooding effect of 3# viscosity reduction agent is the best; under the same injecting conditions, the overall recovery efficiency is higher if the viscosity reduction agent is injected earlier and the flooding effect is better; the finally recovery efficiency enhance with increasing of the concentration of viscosity reduction agent, and it is the highest when concentration of viscosity reducer solution is 0.3%, and the finally recovery efficiency decrease with increases consistently of the concentration of viscosity reduction agen. Finally recovery efficiency is affected by hot water temperature notably. The water temperature rising, finally recovery efficiency enhance.In the comparison with hot water flooding, when the water temperature under 60℃, the finally recovery efficiency of viscosity reduction agent flooding is higher ;when the water temperature exceed 60℃, it is opposite.Through the economic evaluation of oil displacement program basing experiment result, we can use mining method of chemical viscosity reduction in Alaxin heavy oil reservoir.The best oil displacement program is: after injection 0.3% concentration, 0.5 pore volumes of viscosity reducer solution 3# with waste water, water drive being taken on again.The scheme can gain finally the best profit.
