The double-channel sewage pump has excellent performance and good passing -ability which obtain more widespread application in transportation and processing of city sewage and industrial waste. Therefore, with the development of people environmental protection consciousness, the research and development on double -channel sewage pump are more and more valuable. The impeller is mainly passing and energy conversion part of pump, which has decided the performance of pump. But the channel of impeller decides the flowing rule in interior medium of impeller, thus the premise on designing the high performance sewage pump is clarifying the flowing rule in the impeller.This topic for Gansu Province science and technology plan-300QW930-15-55 double-flow channel sewage pump. This article has thoroughly researched on hydraulic design of double-channel sewage pump impeller and numerical simulation of the impeller in the clear water and solid-fluid-two-phase medium through FLUENT, analyzed the influence of the different particle volume fraction and different particle diameter for the double-channel sewage pump performance and has yielded some innovation results.1.This article has improved and perfected the drawing method of impeller of reference[5] in hydraulic design of double-channel sewage pump. At the same time, this article gave different way from reference[5] when ascertaining the ultimate point of channel midline of in the axial surface chart and to drawing the projective plan.2.This article has abandoned the traditional method for generating channel midline through drawing points and linking sampling curve, and it enrolls the Archimedes spiral line formula to generate midline, this not only could be accurately determine the channel midline, but also has saved the modeling time.3.Through analyzing the concentration distributing of solid-phase in the double-channel swage pump, we get some rules of solid-phase distributing in the channel: under the same flow and the same particle diameter, the most particles are centralizing the mid part of channel and going forward to the outlet of impeller along the midline of flow channel; and this phenomena is more and more clear with the increasing of particle concentration, but the variety of particle concentration less affects the separating of solid-phase; under the same flow and the same concentration,the solid-phase concentration is more and more low in the back and working face of impeller, and the solid-phase concentration is more and more high in the middle of flow channel with the particle diameter increasing, and mixed medium with high concentration and big particle is flowing to the outlet of impeller from the middle of flow channel, and the variety of particle diameter more affects the separating of solid-phase.The findings have indicated that the performance of the double-channel sewage pump transports the solid-fluid-two-phase media is extremely superior, this virtue has been proved by the solid phase density distributed disciplinarian. Through comparing the simulation data with the measured data, sewage pump performance curve of the simulation is consistent with the actual performance curve. Therefore, all in all, the 300QW930-15-55 double-channel sewage pump is successfully designed.
