| In this paper, plate production with blank from continuous meal cast process is simulated by lead slab rolling, trying to develop a new plan view pattern controlling means in order to reduce waste stock and enhance yield .According to the theory of simulation test , the coherent parameters of simulated experiment were determined, combined with production conditions of medium plate and test conditions. Perpendicular test was employed to work out four pertinent testing methods by which the physical simulation test was carried out with lead specimen.The effects of edge pass reduction, the times and occasions of edge pass, the notch angle and depth of chamfering rolling, and occasion of chamfering pass on the shape of edge side and plane surface were studied and analyzed in detail. The practicability of developing a new production technology ,which could meet the nationwide production demand of medium plate without side cut, was analyzed combined with chamfering rolling and undercut return .The results obtained are as fellows:(1) V rolling efficiently reduces side overlap of plate, but can't remove. V rolling had better be arranged after broadside passes.(2) On some condition, chamfer rolling may remove side overlap of plate completely; chamfer rolling should be arranged before broadside passes; the overlap sharply decreases as the chamfer area increases; chamfer angle should be 60°.(3) Chamfer rolling and V rolling make end shape show fish-tail.(4) Perfect rolling pattern is: sizing→chamfer rolling→broadside rolling→finish rolling→V rolling→finish rolling→V rolling.(5) In chamfer rolling, side cut loss of lead plate decreases by 1.30%, crop end loss decreases by 0.25%, and yield increases by 1.55%. (6) It's possible to found a new Trimming Free Plate rolling method by combining chamfer rolling with side-bite and return. |
