Magnesium alloys provide with high special strength and stifness,good mechanical behaviour,and good properties, have been widely used as the light structure materials. However,magnesium alloys has low strength and elongation,which limit it's applicationin industrial products.In order to overcome the shortcoming,and make Magnesium alloys utility more widely,we should develop high strength Magnesium alloys .(1) Laser melting Magnesium alloy.The studied results of laser meleing Magnesium alloy show that with high energy density,could refrigeration and calefaction quickly.Duo to the fine-grained and precipitation strengthening,the microhardness,wear and corrosion resistance of the melted layers have the significant improvement;With the high energy density,owing to the increasing of the dendritic dimension,modified effect of the high energy density is lower than that of the low energy density.(2) Laser melting Mg alloy microhardness curve is sidestep.Surface is buent hundred-percent and dendritic dimension become big,second surface is best hardness. Mg alloy group's hardness is the lowest.(3) Laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy and common Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy's friction coefficients both tend to minish with increasing load.The friction coefficients of the Laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy are lower than that of common Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy.Laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy and common Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy's wear rate both tend to maxish with increasing load.Laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy's wear capability is better than common Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy.(4) According to experiment result,we could simulate laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy's temperature scene. According to Mg alloy phase diagrams ,we could know Laser melting Mg97Zn1Y2 alloy's capability.(5) Rolled Mg97Zn1Y2 alloys at different test temperatures,study alloys' capability and structure.The ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation to failure of the Mg97ZnlY2 alloys at different test temperatures were obtained. By means of SEM, observations on fracture surfaces were carried out. Mg97ZnlY2 alloys still have good tensile properties at 390°C-420°C. Simultaneously the explanation of strengthened mechanism of the alloys was made, and then the influence of experiment temperature on the mechanics performance and break characteristic was analyzed.
