This article is focused on the technical study of the magnetic separation of the iron ore from HeiYu Mine of LGISCO. Based on this study, an implementation plan and relevant parameters for LGISCO ore separation process is made out thus the smooth industrial implementation of the technique reformation in Nian Zi Ba mineral factory is ensured. The Fe content of the final ore is raised from 63.00% to 65.00% by this research.After carefully analyzing and clarifying the situation of the resource of iron ores and the progress of ore separation both domestic and abroad recently, especially in the fields of the process, equipment as well as in industrial applications, it is certified that the main problem of the iron mine is facing to escalation and optimization of magnetic mineral processing due to the expanding demands on the resource of iron ores with the developing iron and steel industry and decrease of the easy separated ores.Through the study on the basic nature of LGISCO ores, a factor of ore dressing and method for ores is drawn out.With the trial test, a processing condition and work parameters of the equipment for LGISCO ore separation is defined, i.e. pre-separation, stage-grinding, high frequency vibrating fine-mesh screen etc. After detailed test with different parameters and conditions, it is decided that the process flow for LGISCO ore separation should be one pre-separation, stage-grinding and three magnetic separations. By using this flow, it is good to obtain better results for mineral processing. Stabilizing experiment show that 27.00% the Fe content for raw minerals,65.3% the Fe content for the final concentrated ores and 75.00% total metal recover rate, can be obtained.Through the product analysis and lab test, it is shown that the treatment capacity of the grinding separation system for LGISCO ore processing is effectively increased. The Fe content of the final ores is increased by 1.5-2.0% with the recovery unchanged basically. For the successful development of the technical study on the separation from LGISCO ores, combine the research result of the paper and the actual circumstance of the Nian Zi Ba mineral factory, it is sure an important significance for pushing local ore processing industries to save energy and reduce cost, writer said, a certain reference for technical innovation for the same kind and small scaled mineral plants.
