In this article, the AZ91D magnesium alloy used for researching, in order to obtain the corrosion resistance coating , the aluminum-zinc were sprayed on the surface. The coating structure layer has been observed and analyzed with SEM. Different arc spraying technology parameters of the specimen to be analyzed by micro-hardness tests, pore tests neutral salt spray tests (NSS tests), wear-resistance tests and coating bonding strength tests. The result shows that the technology parameters have the great effect on the quality of the coatings. The best technology parameters was : the electric arc voltage is 27V, the electric current is 100~120A, the air pressure is 0.5MPa, the spraying distance is 150mm, the thickness of the coating is 0.4mm.The principle of bonding between the coating and the matrix was expound. The effect of the hot diffusion on the bonding strength and the microstructure of the coating was individual discussed. The property of the corrosion resistance has been systematically researched.
