The high precise diameter of a sphere sphericity survey is the essential constituent in the modern test technology, therefore study of its test theory and the organization has vital significance. Now main method of the diameter of a sphere sphericity survey is that uses the roundness measuring equipment, CMM as well as the laser test method. Because of the test environment and the condition limit, it is restrained in some which presently examines is requesting. This article mainly takes the principle of pneumatic measurement as the main object of study, according to the pneumatic measurement request and the condition, studies the high precise diameter of a sphere sphericity survey theory and configuration. This method has realized the online examination, and has avoided above method shortcoming. According to the diameter of a sphere sphericity evaluation theory and the differential pressure air operated survey principle, design the pneumatic measurement sensor, design pneumatic measurement gauge, and use Matlab to carry on the simulation and the optimized design for on the gauge stationing. Through gauge on reasonable stationing, in the diameter of a sphere sphericity survey process, use the ball to be opposite the measuring point and carry on the relative rotation on the gauge to carry on the survey. Design the mechanism under the theory instruction. Carry on the design in view of the single gauge head, and take its aerodynamic properties as the main reference design sheet gauge head reasonable mechanism, and confirm its design and the mechanical size rationality through the massive experiments. Simultaneously designs the gauge the mechanism as well as the ball support structure and the entire installment structure.
