| The experiment decontaminates the foul smell gas with NH3 and H2S asrepresentative, inspecting respectively the treatment effect of the two kindsof gas under different condition, inspecting the mutual influence between eachother when decontaminating this two gas, and studying the effect of treatmentof the commixture gas containing various air admission in the bio-tricklingfilter. The experiment improves traditional method and reactor, adoptingmultiple spot air admission, inspecting the relation between air admissionthickness, degradation efficiency and filling altitude. And it inspects theaccumulation of biomass.Comparing with the chemical methods or physical methods, biological methodis simple, cost-effective, environment friendly with low consumption and withoutsecondary pollution. It becomes the domestic and overseas mainstream researchand application methods to the odor treatment. The bio-trickling filter hasbecome an important mathod at present because of its operation condition isextremely easy to control. Most studies have investigated the removal single pollutant in bio-tricklingfilter. They focus on the research on the technological parameters set, thechoice of the packing materials. There are few reports about the research onthe co-treatment of different pollutants in a bio-trickling filter, theprevention of plugging due to accumulating biomass, and the research on thebacteria and so on. To fill up the technique blank in our country, the experimenthas carried out the treatment of odors containing NH3 and H2S smell in abio-trickling filter.According to these, the co-treatment of the NH3 and H2S is studied in thistest, and results of the experiment were achieved as follows:1. The suitable ecological conditions for microbial degradation of the NH3 andH2S are: temperature at 25℃, the nutrient sprinkling rate at 8L/h, aeration rateat 0.4m3/h with incoming NH3 at 435.74~802.32mg/m3 and H2S concentration at 723.44~952.18mg/m3, pH at 7.0~8.0, under which, both of the cleaning efficiencycould be up to 90%.2. The loss of the press due to the accumulating biomass in the bio-tricklingfilter rises up with the increase in operational time. It rises up fastest atthe under-layer, from 62.58 Pa to 240.24 Pa, then the middle-layer. It has littlechange at the up-layer. There is not any plugging due to the accumulation ofexcess biomass during the operation.3. It found that the height of packing affect the cleaning efficiency. The studyshows that with the incoming H2S concentration at 670.20~960.88mg/m3, thecleaning efficiency in the under-layer of the reactor is up to 50%~60%, andin the both of the under-layer and the middle-layer is up to 90%.Therefore, mostof the pollutants are removed at the bottom of the bio-trickling filter.4. In the co-treatment of the NH3 and H2S, the impact on the cleaning efficiencyof the NH3 with the nutrient sprinkling rate is stronger than the H2S.5. As the co-treatment of the NH3 and H2S, pH value become to 6.5~8.5. But Ithas little impact on the dominating bacteria and the cleaning efficiency. Therefore it can save the operational costs for it needn't to regulate the pHvalue. On the base of above experiment, the paper also discusses the mechanism ofthe co-treatment of NH3 and H2S in the bio-trickling filter. |
