Studies On Moulding Conditions And Quality Standard Of Granula For Antianxiety And Tranquilizing

Granula for antianxiety and tranquilizing consists of huanglian(Coptis chinensis Franch),huangqin(Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi),baishao(Paeonia Llactiflora Pall.),ejiao(Equus asinus L.), and has the function of nourishing yin and heat-clearing, restoring normal coordination between heart and kidney, therapying anxiety disorders, relieving asthenic yin causing excessive pyrexia as well as upsetting and hyposomnia, and dry throat etc.Under the guidance of the theories of TCM, Granula for antianxiety and tranquilizing has been researched on pre-clinical pharmacy. Moulding conditions were screened. The technique of TLC was used to identify Coptis chinensis Franch, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, Paeonia Llactiflora Pall., The contents of berberine hydrochloride and baicalin were determined by HPLC. The quality standard was built up on the basis of TLC and HPLC.Results: the identification by TLC is fast and convenient; the effect is satisfying; the reproducibility is; steady ; the specificity is good. Berberine hydrochloride showed good linear relationship in the range of 0.033728～0.16864ug. The average recovery was 100.54%, RSD 1.54%. Baicalin showed good linear relationship in the range of 0.04976～0.2488ug. The average recovery was 99.98%, RSD 1.20%. The results can become the quantity index of qualify control on Granula for antianxiety and tranquilizing.
