So, the research content of this subject is how to select the effective machining method of gear mold, the gear mold electric discharge generating machining means is an innovation, and this study would be of momentous current significance for manufacture of gear mold.At first, Basing on the analyzing of the elements of EDM, gear mold and the electric discharge generating machining , through analyzing the gear mold machining arts and crafts, the gear mold electric discharge generating machining method was brought forward. The holistic of the electric discharge generating machining method designed.In order to actualize gear mold electric discharge generating machining effectively, through analyzing the key diathesis that influence gear mold machining precision, the theoretical models were established; basing on the analyzing of the selection of EDM parameters, the experiment was made, then through analyzing the influence of EDM parameters to the gear mold machining precision, the project of EDM parameters was carried out. The assurance measures was made.A special gear mold NC machining equipment with high precision was designed, this equipment is based on the DK7732G accurate shaping EDM machine tool. Making the best use of the EDM excellence, that has no engine force, no restricting of rigidity, and with high precision. Combining the principle of the generating machining of gear, in order to machine the in/out gear with straight/ inclined teeth with high precision. Every part of this equipment is designed in detail, and the drawings is offered. Give the integrated project of the selection, installation and using method of CNC equipment, servo motors and servo drivers. Then trial-manufacture this equipment, through test, improve it.At last, examine gear mold machined in this equipment, prove that the quality of gear mold part is eligible, and the electric discharge generating machining equipment can be used in all inner gears manufacture.
