ISO14001 environmental management system is a management pattern combining all advanced management systems. It's not only improves environmental management, but also strengthens management development. As for the enterprises that exerting environmental management system, how to reflect management effectiveness after exerting management system involves environmental performance evaluation. And with the advancement of people's consciousness on environment, enterprises begin to bear the environmental responsibility. Of all the representative one is ISO14031 EPE indicators system standard. ISO14031 EPE indicators system standard pertain ISO14000 standard series. It's system management means to evaluate Environmental Performance and Environmental infection which is organized among the process of establishment and application of environmental management system. The application process of ISO14000 would be the process of enterprise's environmental protection's investment and improvement process of environmental performance.In Shang Hai certain petroleum company I entered into the whole process of ISO14000 environmental management system, training, application, internal audit and management evaluation, collecting a great deal data and evaluation opinions about the company's environmental management system. Based on it, from managers' view, we evaluate environmental performance after the enterprise exerting ISO14001. It's different from general performance evaluation that it integrates ISO14001 criterion. As a result, it's beneficial to making the next plan and orientation according to the environmental performance evaluation results.The article sets up environmental performance evaluation after exerting ISO14001. Environmental performance evaluation is continuous evaluation behavior, so the establishment of the evaluation system is beneficial to controlling the effectiveness after exerting ISO14001.Firstly, the article introduces relevant study on ISO 14000 environmental management system and ISO14031 EPE; secondly, connecting the enterprise's situation to set up EPE indicators and EPE model based on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Finally, it sums up research's results and deficiency and provides some suggestions on the EPE development and application in enterprises.
