The Research And Application Of Forecasting Working Face Gas Emission

The gas is one of the most important factors which endanger the security of the mining production. It has a great significance to improve the study on the prediction method of the amount of gas emission to enhance the coalmine safety situation in China.The paper which is based on the deep research on the gas emission prediction methods, analyzes and compares the common prediction methods, and concludes the range of use and relative merits of kinds of prediction methods. It primarily studies on the application of neural networks in gas emission prediction. The results indicate that the forecast model has high precision of prediction and minor error and adequacy show the powerful advantage in handing the nonlinear problem.On the basis of the working face forecasting model, and ActiveX controls integrated, gas emission forecasting system is developed by using Visual Basic, SQL Server and MATLAB as the developing stage. The system, which ofers a simple and efficacious way to develop software, has well man-machine interfaces. It can complete data management, prediction gas emission, data query and etc functions.
