Polyethylenimine(PEI) was grafted on silica gel particle surfaces withγ-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane as couplant, and a novel composite adsorption material PEI/SiO2 for biomedical application was prepared in this paper; And the chemical structure of the product was characterized with FTIR spectrum; The adsorption ability of PEI/SiO2 for bilirubin and the effects of pH value, ionic strength of the medium and the bound amount of PEI on PEI/SiO2 on the adsorption quantity were examined with static adsorption experiment. FTIR spectrum illustrated that polyethylenimine was sucessfully grafted on silica gel particle surfaces. The static adsorption experiment results show that the pH value of the aqueous solution has the greatest effect on the adsorption property of PEI/SiO2.The suspension method with two organic phases was adopted to prepare MBA/AM/GMA microspheres. The chemical structure of the product was characterized with FTIR spectrum, and the morphology of the microspheres was observed with microscope; The effects of the agitating rate, the ratio of the two oil phases, the used amount of dispersant and the solvent composition of dispersed phase on the particle diameter were examined. The optimal condition was concluded. The experiment results show that the diameter of MBA/AM/GMA microspheres could be controlled. Then polyethylenimine (PEI) was grafted on the surface of The crosslinking copolymer microbeads of glycidyl methacrylate and acrylamide MBA /AM/GMA, and the grafting microbead PEI-AM/GMA was prepared, it is a novel biomedical adsorption material, and has strong adsorption ability for bilirubin. The adsorption property of the grafting microbeads of PEI-AM/GMA for bilirubin was studied. and the chemical structure of the product was characterized with FTIR spectrum; The adsorption ability of PEI-AM/GMA for bilirubin and the effects of pH value, ionic strength of the medium and the bound amount of PEI on PEI-AM/GMA on the adsorption quantity were examined with static adsorption experiment. FTIR spectrum illustrated that polyethylenimine was sucessfully grafted on MBA/AM/GMA microspheres. The static adsorption experiment results show that the pH value of the aqueous solution has the greatest effect on the adsorption property of PEI-AM/GMA.
