| It's mainly introduced how to prepare the composite system of OMMT/epoxy resin by melting intercalation, investigate the different intercalation methods of OMMT/epoxy resin, the intercalation and exfoliation behaviors of mont morillonite in epoxy resin, and apply to insolvent epoxy anticorrosive coating. Through changing the contents of OMMT, we can test the properties of dope and analyzes the MMT's role in it, in order to determine the best prescription. The experiment proves that the corrosion resisting properties of the dope have remarkable improvement when adding OMMT. The process of the preparation consists of :(1) Use quaternary salt with hydroxyl groups as intercalation guest to intercalate mont morillonite and characterize its interlayer distance with XRD. Its interlayer distance increases from 1.54 nm to 2.26 nm.(2) Use quaternary salt with epoxy groups as intercalation guest to intercalate mont morillonite and characterize it with FTIR and XRD. Its interlayer distance increases from 1.54 nm to 4.08 nm. Prepare the composite system of OMMT/epoxy resin by melting intercalation, and change the intercalation temperature and hour to investigate the influence to the interlayer distance. The XRD result shows that it's advantaged for the interlayer distance through increasing the intercalation temperature and hour. Its interlayer distance increases from 2.26 nm to 7.63 nm.Design an epoxy resin anticorrosive coating formula; research the influence on the properties of epoxy resin coating of exfoliated organic mont morillonite: after adding organic mont morillonite, the acid resistance is enhanced by 100%; alkali resistance and brine resistance have a marked improvement. The film's impact strength resistance is enhanced by 40%, flexibility by 50%; the film can still maintain excellent adhesion and rigidity.
