| A large foundry company will produce tens of thousands tons casting filings. According to market quotations, if it can be reused, that will get much economic returns and social benefits. In this paper, I will introduce the three smelting patterns and the virtues and defects of them.After tens of years'development, the techniques of induction furnace are getting mature day by day. But to our country, we get lost far behind the developed countries. For kinds of reasons, the furnaces built in our country are widely used. Compared with the foreign countries, we are not good at the safety of the furnace production. So I design the monitoring system as to improve the safety of the production. There are four parts of the paper as the following:First based on the analysis of characteristics and productive process of induction furnace, especially on the analysis of safety and economic, we develop the monitoring system. The centre of it is to monitor production procession. Specific speaking, it monitors and records parameters of lining thickness,current,voltage,power and temperature, etc. So we can get change of lining and productivity effect by analysis the data.Second part is the analysis of lining thickness. I make a mathematic model of the furnace as to analysis the production procession, working principle. Then I gave the concept of working impedance of the furnace. So we can analysis change trends of the lining to attain monitoring objective.Third part of the paper is to design the PLC system. This part will introduce the design of hardware and software of the PLC system. By PLC system, we can realize data collected, transmitted and exchanged. And it realizes the function of alarm.Last part of paper is to design the application program of Kingview 6.5.Thus we can get the real time report of kinds of data, managing the personnel, etc.The monitoring system can monitor the procession at real time, so it increases economic efficiency and the safety of production procession. |
