Suspended carrier bioreactor is a high efficiency and novelty treatment process.Carriers can provide habitat to accrete and grow for microorganism. It is gained thepoint that carriers welter with current stream through aeration in the reactor. Thepreparation of conventional carrier-ceramsite which has large density, needs muchearthmoving.And it needs immovable bed reactor, and may cause the difficult ofbackwash,and other various defects.This article studies the dosage of the sulfuric acid, the formaldehyde, the hairbubble and so on. There are some factors that include reacting temperature andreacting time, the speed of churning and the density of PVA etc, which have largeinfluence on the preparation conditions, the voidage and the specific surface of PVFcarriers, To get the excellent turn formulation and the produce craft condition is afteranalyzing the various influence factors in the stuffed making process, then the newlysuspend filler-PVF.are prepared.The paper has introduced the exploitation and preparation about a carrier—PVF(polyvinyl formal) carrier. The optimizing prescription and conditions have beendefined by analyzing the factors of the carrier. The result shows that when PVAsolution is 8%(w/w),vesicant quality is 0.5 g,7.5 ml formaldehyde and 12 mlvitriol(50%),after condensation reaction 3 or 4 hours can get PVF foam carrier whosespecific surface area is 71.2980 m2/g.During biofilm growing the change ratio of carriers was 15%in the way ofinterim discontinuous. The results showed that the process had a high removalefficiency of NH3-H 90.09%under the conditions of 2.5 d.The concentration ofammonia was 4.20 mg/L, which has reached the standard emission of wastewater.The removal rate of 2# is better than that of 3#,which Show that the removal rate isaffected by the characteristics of carriers. Both the voidage and specific surface of 2#are larger than 3#, which show the main influence factors to the growth of microbe arethe voidage, the aperture and specific surface area.Removal ammonia using two suspended carriers bio-reactors at the same time in the way of continuous water supply. The results showed that during the process 2#had a better removal efficiency for NH3-H concentration. But both the efficiency ofthe two carriers are not high, which we should discuss deep on the factors ofwastewater treatment.
