Property Of Accumulating Luminous Fiber And Application On Warp Knitting

Accumulating luminous fiber is a new kind of functional fiber. If this fiber absorbed any visible light only for 10 minutes, it could store up light energy in the fiber, and shine for a long time in the dark. Moreover, it could be used infinitely. This paper mainly introduces the knitting property of accumulating luminous fiber. Based on the study of it, accumulating luminous fiber was applied to weaving of warp knitted fabric. Meanwhile the paper detailed shows its production process. Firstly, the paper introduced present situation of domestic and international, methods of spinning, principle of luminescence, luminous property and applications of the accumulating luminous fiber. Secondly, polyester fiber, accumulating luminous fiber and polyamide were tested about their relative breaking strength, dynamic friction coefficient,1% initial modulus and bending rigidity. By comparing the dates, knitting property can be estimated. Because of its higher cost and luminescence, two samples were woven after selecting appropriate pattern, machines and histological structure. These two fabrics are provided with luminous figured effect. The product has step up a scale. This article also introduces the two samples'technical process and craft parameters. Finally, a new formula is proposed, which is about grams per square meter of the complex jacquard fabric.In addition, compared to other luminous materials, it was innocuous and of no radioactivity. It was also safe for people's health. This fiber will be widely used in the area of textile production.
