Study On Control System And Filter Mechanism Of Filter Press

With the development of mill run industry and auto-control technique, it is urgent and valuable to design and manufacture great and high-efficiency filter press. In order to solve the problems of the old type filter press, the work of improvement and design for the filter press control system and filter mechanism was done in this article. The results of experiment show that the application performance of improved filter press was better than old one.On the foundation of understanding the structures and operating principles of filter press, the design calculation of the main structures was analysed, including the filter board and draw-plate and so on, and the improvement design of the control system and filter mechanism was accomplished in this thesis. In the control system, the hydraulic system has been design, the main control circuit was improved and redesigned, choice of PLC in the controlling system of filtering machine was completed, namely Siemens S7-200 type PLC was choose to carry out auto-control function of filter press, the process of work action was planed to realize the filter press'full-automatic control. For filter mechanism, filter board and filter cloth are not only the important components of filter mechanism of filter press, but also the major factor affecting filtration efficiency. Based on the request of filter press, better filter cloth was choose and on the bases of calculation by using I-deas8.0 software, the structure of draw-plate was improved, and the filter gasket of filter press was redesigned. The result of the experiment on the main factors such as pressure, the thick of cake, filtering speed, filtering time and the experiment on the application efficiency between the former and latter filter press show that the improved filter press is better than old one.The research in thesis on the control system and the filter mechanism is significance and valuable to enhance the working efficiency, shorten the production cycle, reduce the cost, improve the competitive ability of filter press manufacture enterprise.
