The critical compositions and types of microemulsion system are measured with optic observation and conductivity methods, then imitate three-phase-charts are drawn, and the prescriptions of microemulsion systems are ascertained and optimized. The super fine sulfurized Ni catalysts are prepared by reacting in nano-size reverse micelles of water-in-oil microemulsion. The microemulsion catalysts are characterized and analyzed by XRD, TEM, Laser Granularity and optic microscope. Coke-restraining activities of the microemulsion catalysts for hydrocracking of residue oil are also estimated. So the optimal catalyst preparation schemes for different microemulsion systems are selected. Addition, the industrial application of the microemulsion catalysts is investigated through microemulsion catalysts'preparation, sulfurization, separation and dispersion.The EM1 and EM2 microemulsion systems are selected. TEM and Laser Granularity results indicate that, both two microemulsion systems selected can prepare superfine dispersed catalyst particles, which have particle sizes in 30~150nm range and granularity distribution uniform. XRD results show that, the catalysts crystal mainly is Ni3S2 when sulfurization at low temperature, while after sulfurization at high temperature, the Ni sulfide catalysts prepared in microemulsion are mostly the existence of Ni3S2 and NiS crystal, along with the granularity and activity of catalysts improving. Contrast to the general water-soluble catalysts, the preferable dispersion and sulfurization degrees of microemulsion catalysts can be attained, and a great higher coke-restraining activity for hydrocracking of residue oil is achieved. In all, the industrialization of microemulsion catalyst used in slurry phase hydrocracking is feasible and superior. And a application scheme of the superfine sulfurized catalysts for slurry phase hydrocracking is set down.
