Because there is a new phase-CaZrO3 after the introduce of Zircon, the melting point of CaZrO3 is very high, it not ease to decompose and react with other ingredient, which can improve the viscosity, and the reaction will entail expansion, all the above is be propitious to anti-slag. But if introduce a good new Zircon, the anti-slag will drop. The reason is more Zircon produce more SiO2, more SiO2 is disadvantageous for anti-slag; with the testing of triton wimble, the result shows the sample (introducing 2% Zircon) produce least liquid phase, and the temperature that begin to appear liquid phase is the most high. The study shows the influence of Zircon is prominent for high alkalinity slag. Making the standard slag into small ball and placed on the surface of sample, then observe the wetting angle after high temperature, the sample (introducing 0% 2% 5% Zircon) have big wetting angle, the sample (introducing 8% 12%) have small wetting angle.Zircon have different affection for basic performance, Zircon has high heat conduct, the composition of Zircon and the transformation of phase will produce some small flaw, which make the break-strength enhance. Because the SiO2promotes the sinter, the porosity drops, the density enhences, the variety of length drops.The fluctuate of temperature is very sharp, so there is comparatively great temperature grads and heat stress that lead to flaw and flake, which is the main reason of the shatter of ASC ramming meterial. This test study the change of thermal-shock resistance of material with the introduce of Zircon. The result shows that the thermal-shock resistance enhance notably with the introduce of Zircon, the reason is that the transformation of phase of Zircon will produce some small flaw, which is advantageous for stability of the thermal shock. Because the density and length of flaw larges, and the flaws became to unite, and the intensity will drop, so when the joining quantity is excess 8%, the thermal-shock resistance will go to the bad. |
