Developing clean coal technology to improve the efficiency of our country's coal utilization and decrease the environmental pollution from coal combustion, one of the main ways is to research, develop and apply the coal gasification technology. Entrained-bed coal gasification technology at high temperature and pressure meets the trend of coal gasification technology with high capacity and high efficiency, and becomes the keypoint of our coal utilization technology. Lacking of the chemical and physical characteristics of coal and char at high pressure and temperature to effect the coal gasification, it needs research for China's typical coal at the condition of high temperature and high pressure, to satisfy the requirement of the economic development to coal clean utilization.This paper studied the pyrolysis and gasification characteristics of typical coal of China at high temperature and high pressure, by using of the thermalgravity analyzer(TGA). We study the pyrolysis effecting factors of heating rate, pyrolysis end temperature, pressure, the coal kinds and mass. The coal of Shenfu, Heshan, Pingzai, Xiaolongtan are used, pressures are set as atmosphere pressure, 0.8~5MPa, and the temperatures of 650~1000℃. According to the TGA curves obtained in the pyrolysis experiments, we analysis the coal pyrolysis characteristics, process the data and caculate the kinetic parameters Ea and A using integral method. The reaction mechanism of coal pyrolysis is discused.Experiments of Shenfu coal gasifying with CO2 at the condition of different heating rate, different heating end temperature, and different pressure are studied. We anlysis the effecting factors according to the TGA curves obtained, process the data and caculate the kinetics parameters. Discuss the reaction mechanism of shenfu coal gasifying with CO2.The investigation of coal pyrolysis/gasification at high temperature and high pressure will provide the necessary datas for the development of high-pressure and high-temperature coal gasification, establish a certain theory basis and supply some valuable information for the further research of coal gasification technology.
