The advancement of control, computer, and communication networks technologies, lead to the development of fieldbus that labels the emergency of networked control systems (NCSs). Meanwhile, the technologies on general computer networks especially Profibus have progressed rapidly. With widespread usages (80% of LAN market), increasing speed, decreasing price, and well-established infrastructure, Ethernet becomes major competitors to the industrial fieldbus.The paper presents a big descriptions on the automation system from design to controls in the Electrolytic Tinning Line (ETL). Detailed descriptions have been made on the layout, equipment features to be used for designing the configuration of the automation system and its typical control design as well as tension control and load distribution of tension roller.Firstly, the thesis introduces our country's present production situation of tin plates, the unit's production process and the unit's working speed. Then it introduces the production line process and its control system designing, the related power distribution loop and transmission system control loop disposition and foundation automation system.Secondly, the thesis analyses tin production line, the production unit's unwinding section and the craft section. On the unwinding section concrete craft, the sequential control and the chain request, the control system electricity loop design as well as the craft section concrete craft and various part controlled have made the detailed elaboration. Thirdly, the thesis researches on the unwinding coiler tension control and the load balancing control in detail. The related unwinding coiler tension control introduction, from the unwinding coiler tension control principle, characteristic, classification, function and realization has carried on the elaboration; From the vector control basic principle, the inverters control pattern and the T400 craft board aspect summarized the question which how the tension does control; Moreover has carried on the summary and the analysis to the stretch roll load balancing control, related load balanced principle, classification and realization. Finally the 1# bridle roll's loop control is introduced.Fourthly the thesis introduces unwinding coiler tension system's modeling and simulation, have carried on the detailed elaboration to the unwinding coiler tension control system. From to the vector control basic principle, the asynchronous motor revolves in the M-T coordinates mathematical model in two phase synchronisms, as well as the vector transformation control system equation, vector control system modeling and simulation aspect have carried on the tension system modeling. Finally the speed, the torque and the capillary wave has acted the simulation, indicated after the simulation result, the tension undulation is stable, the system movement is reliable and steady, realization very good tension control.Finally the thesis narrates the network communications system based on the PROFIBUS, the PROFIBUS field bus structure and hardware, composition and bus access mode has made the detailed introduction. About the PROFIBUS-DP field bus movement way, the equipment classification has carried on the elaboration. And it has carried on the analysis to the PROFIBUS-DP network correspondence design: Hardware and correspondence's configuration, PROFIBUS-DP data communication form, inverters' parameter establishment as well as communication procedure compilation.
