Based on the in situ measurement, various methods, such as numerical simulation and theoretical study are applied to research the structure and movement characteristic of overburden strata, the distribution and behavior characteristic of abutment pressure in the fully mechanized sub level caving face of deep mine. And on this basis, the control methods of surrounding rock around the road and working face under the conditions of fully mechanized sub level caving are analyzed. The main researches and main conclusions are drawn as follows.·Combining the theoretical study method and in situ measurement, the distribution laws of abutment pressure in the fully mechanized sub level caving face of deep mine are researched.·The roadway deformation laws influenced by the drawing of working face and the impact of anchor prestressing on the roadway deformation are simulated by using ANSYS modeling. And combined with in situ measurement, the deformation problems of surrounding rock around the road in the face are analyzed.·Roof control issues in the fully mechanized sub level caving face of deep mine are solved through analyzing the face supporter adaptability.·On the basis of theoretical analysis and computation, the control methods of roadway surrounding rock in the fully mechanized sub level caving face are researched and support programs are proposed,and .good effects are verified by the in situ measurement.·Through studying the relations between abutment pressure and rockburst,the phenomenon of rockbust that may happen in Huxi coal mine are analyzed. The control measures of rockburst in Huxi coal mine are proposed.·This study of this paper has important practical and theoretical significance on solving the problems under the conditions of fully mechanized sub level caving, especially on the solution of roof control and road surrounding rock control problems in Huxi coal mine, therefore, valuable experience is provided for mines with the similar conditions.
