The elastic theory for the different tensile-compressive modulus has been developed rapidly since is founded in 1970's. This paper expounds systematically the basic theory of elasticity and corresponding finite element method for the different tensile-compressive modulus. The constitutive relationship of the different tensile-compressive modulus material has been studied. The influence of shear modulus in iterate procession of the different tensile-compressive modulus finite element has been discussed, and the recommended value of shear modulus has been given. The theory of nonlinear finite element has been studied, and the finite element method of the different modulus has been choosen, and the displacement field file and stress field file based on FEPG software, the different finite element program is generated. The program is tested using annuals in state of plane stress, and the error between the numerical solution and theory solution is less than 3%, so the program is credibility. Using the program of different modulus finite element method analysis the roadway , it can be seen from the numerical results that the effect of the characteristic of different modulus for engineering material upon the distribution of stress and displacement fields is significant, thus it is necessary to consider the characteristic of different modulus in the analysis for mechanical performance of the engineering structures, for improving the analysis accuracy. Using the different modulus theory, the stress solution and the displacement solution of the cylinder in the state of has been educed, and the stress solution of the annulus has been educed, and then using the different modulus elastic-plastic program the displacement solution of Mohr-Coulomb material has been calculated. Therefore, the present paper is not only to prove the importance to study the effect of different modulus on the structural analysis, but also to form a significant contribution to develop the theory of elasticity for different modulus materials and corresponding finite element method.the theory of different modulus, constitutive relationship, shear modulus, Nonlinear finite element, perfectly plastic numerical simulation...
