Because of the geologic structure,the coal seam overlapping scrap sections existed in Wang jiashan mine field.Along with the anxious coal resources day by day,reliable,safe and economical recycles these coal resources has become an imporrant measure for longer length of service with the mine.Preferable safety and economy technicalbenefit may be obtained through reasonable and economical method of non coal pillar Gob-side Entry Retaining Mining and the layout of normal heading stope.Studies on the layout of roadway and the way of roadway supporting in this kind of coalseam(overlapping scrap sections)working face have important practical significance.The article elaborated the cover supporting rock structure and the motion characteristic in horizontal section top coal caving of steep-inclined and very thick seam. The law of gob side entry retaining roadway ground pressure in horizontal section of top coal caving of steep-inclined and very thick seam is summed up. And the major effect factors on the control of supporting rock with gob side entry retaining roadway is analyzed. On the base of impact analysis on control of supporting rock with roadside packing and face end none falling top coal. Proposed the basic requirements of roadside packing and the necessary conditions of roadway maintenance when falling top coal in face end.Through the theoretical analysis, this article proposed that the basic support+secondary support+roadside support roadway combined supporting method should be adopted. The bolt supporting is the basic supporting form, and analyzed the action mechanism of bolt supporting. Carried the checking calculation on the bolt supporting parameters. The roadway's secondary support method and parameters were determined by field test. Established the mechanical model for surrounding rock displacement, selected the way of roadside packing and actualized check computations to the parameters.Based on the observation of ground pressure behavior and evaluated the design of roadway supporting including the parameters, the article proposed the field implementation measures and suggestions for further consummating the Gob-side Entry Retaining technology.
