There are mainly two ways to realize stealth technology: first is to reduce radar cross-section by objects'structure design; the second is to use radar absorbing material to reduce radar cross-section. Recently years, structure designing and property study of absorbing electromagnetic wave materials has made grate progress both in abroad and at home. This article has systematically studied electromagnetic properties and fabrication technics of Fe-Si-Al alloy micro-powder, and we had made optimization design of the two-tier pyramid structure making use of Fe-Si-Al alloy micro-powder as absorber.By study the relationship between material's electromagnetic properties and microstructure, and the relationship between microstructure and absorption properties, also and the match properties of multi-tier absorption materials, we drew the conclusion as followers: Enlarging crystal grain size, reducing material innerstress and saturation hysteretic lay coefficient can improver material permeability; Flaky absorber has higher permeability because of larger specific surface comparing to spherical particle absorber; Because alloy micro-powder has higher dielectric constant, considering from the point of match property of multi-tier material, our study aim is to reduce the alloy micro-powder material's dielectric constant.And then, we took quick quenching and high energy ball milling technology to prepare Fe-Si-Al alloy micro-powder. We treated the powder by heat-treatment technology. By the aid of XRD and SEM analysis, and the microwave electromagnetic properties'study to the micro-powder alloy, we found the conclusions as follows: After 9h's ball milling, the material had maximalμ′′; Acetone solution of epoxide resin was more in favor of dispersion for absorber, so it had lower dielectric constant; Heat-treatment had not only moved resonance hump toward higher frequency range, but also improved material permeability in higher and wider frequency range. At last, we prepared the two-tier pyramid absorb material according to optimization result, and we had analysed the properties of absorb electromagnetic wave material comparing computational value.This article was mainly about the preparation and study of Fe-Si-Al alloy micro-powder, and we had made optimization design of the two-tier pyramid structure. The mainly goal was to make full use of absorber's maximum absorption ability. Seeing from the result, under the circumstance of reducing material thickness, we had improved the material absorption ability in higher and wider frequency range by structure optimization design.
