The Study Of Wastewater Treatment Process By SBR At The Liquid Chemicals Terminal

In order to construct the New Project of Chemical Tank Terminal smoothly, and to meet with Environmental Protection Policy "Design \Build\Operation at same time with the main project". It is required that the perfonnance and capacity of the existing wastewater plant should be studied and analyzed thoroughly. We need to review the feature of existing wastewater facility and its operation status to provide technical basic data for design and build of new wastewater plant, and to guide the operation of new wastewater system in the future.This article analyzed the character of wastewater of chemical tank terminal, which comes from: non-continuous blowdown; high contaminated and toxic etc. In accordance with these characters, SBR process combined with physics-chemistry process shows it is very successful. And a review of the process is made on practice and theory; It is also feasibility that wastewater of chemical tank terminal is treated by SBR process combined with physics-chemistry process.Through introduction of the process, the actual running effect of the system is studied further. The clarifier can reduce max. 13% of COD, and 80%～90% of COD is reduced by SBR process. The operation data of several years shows that it is capable of treating wastewater of chemical tank terminal by SBR process.Through demonstration of the process above, the advantage of SBR process is simmered as follow: easy operation and control; stable and high efficiency; simple process and low cost investment.Conclusion:1\ According to study and analysis of the process, the index of outlet of wastewater can be controlled in order to meet environmental policy. 2\ SBR process for treatment of wastewater of chemical tank terminal has a successful experience and can be used in other similar wastewater treatment.3\ SBR process for high contaminated wastewater has a special advantage. It will be easy and flexible in operation to meet your requirement.4\ The existing SBR process has demonstrated for the design and construction of wastewater plant in re-construction of new terminal.
