This thesis is based on the dynamics of reactor and ASM serials (Activated Sludge Model)recommended by IAWQ,with the aid of mathematical software MatLAB and SimuLink toolbox belongs to it,to simulate and test the common biological wastewater treatment process.This thesis introduces the development and background of main activated sludge models,and how to establish the mathematical model of a specific treatment process.Reference to the COST624&682 standard provided by "the European Co-operation in the field of Science and Technical Research",establish the corresponding mathematical model.The result of simulation is highly fit the standard, then the model can be regarded as correct.By analysing the dynamical parameters of the ASM1 model,screen out the parameters that can produce major influence to the result of simulation.By analysing the property of wastewater,formulate the solution that can change the result obtained by monitoring into the component of ASM1 model.The thesis use ASM1 model to simulate the A/O(Anoxic-Oxic)nitrogen removal process,use ASM2 modlel to simulate A/O(Anaerobic-Oxic)and A2/O(Anaerobic-Anoxic-Oxic)nitrogen/phosphorus removal process by adjusting the process parameters such as SRT,in order to compare the difference property,advantage and shortcoming between them,and how the different parameters affect the result of simulation.The conclusion can be used to conduct the choice and design of the wastewater treatment process.It can also be used as reference in the running and management of wastewater treatment process.At last,the thesis establish a mathematical model according to the A/O treanment process in long-hua wastewater treatment plant,and simulate it.Reference to the actual monitor record,the value of COD and NH3-N is near to it.
