On the basis of the industrial practice in the mineral processing plant of QiDaShan mine ,this paper discussed the problems of the treating capacity of the froth floatation system; recycling amounts of the scavenger concentrate and its particle size composition ;in the same time the optimized disposition of the SF flotation machine and the JJF flotation machine had been studied in detail in this paper. Furthermore , the reason of the index fluctuation resulted from the increased amounts of the scavenger concentrtate had been analysed . Through the methods of the innovation in automatic control systems ,the froth reagents can be applied in proportion .At last ,the tailings of the process has been studied ,after the laboratory flotation testing and the pilot plant testwork, an optimized flotation circuits in treating the tailings had been determined.The results of the research show that the index flucruation problems existed widespread in all the mineral processing plants can be solved ;the application of the reagent- feed control system provided reliable safeguard in the balance of the industrial practice;the comprehensive utilization of the resources can be achieved through the optimization of the tailing processing circuits .
