With the rapidly increasing of the blast furnace volume, the more efficient of the production, the using coefficient and smelting intensity of blast furnace is improved continuously, as a result, the heat load on the parts of bosh, belly, and the lower stack has been raised greatly. Meanwhile the status of cohesive zone moved frequently up and down because of the fluctuated blast furnace condition, and the impaction of heat flow, extrusion, chemical corrosion appeared time after time, which result in the parts of belly, bosh and the lower stack are in exceptionally bad working environment, then the corrosion of the refractory lining and the disrepair of the cooler equipment are more fast. Therefore, how to prolong the life of cooling equipment is an very important issues to study high efficient and long campaign BF.In this paper, some BF copper cooler in Angang Steel Company Limited were taken as the research objects, the data of the structure of BF cooler and BF cooler life were collected, the hot surface of the copper cooling stave can be covered by the slag is the best way to make the it reach the long life and keep the ideal BF operative profile, which has been ensured already. Moreover aiming at the disrepair mechanism, the measures how to decrease the disrepair and prolong the life of the cooler were put forward as follows:(1) The BF operation guideline that the redistribute are cooperated one another up and down has been adopted, in this way, the distributing of gas flow during the production of the BF has been controlled.(2) management which include the operation of the inner and the front of the furnace, the enter water temperature of the furnace lining and cooler stave has been reinforced.(3) The cooling water parameters, such as quality, velocity, pressure, etc.has been assured by operation management of the cooling water systems.(4) By Monitoring the BF copper cooling stave, the working state was known, from which the BF operation was coached.At the same time, copper cooler stave management model of the BF operative profile has been built by the heat transfer computing, and the application examples of the model also have been introduced.
