| The study mostly discusses the chitin used on waterborne epoxy coating. Aim at problems as bad weather resisting property and easy to chalked of the epoxy resin coating, for improve and enhance the performances of waterborne epoxy coating, chitosan solution executed by chitin was added to the waterborne epoxy emulsion, the dosage of chitosan solution and it's quantity, variety of the emulsifier influence to the stability of emulsion are studied. The experimental results show that: The chitosan solution make of 1.5% acetic acid solution to dissolve into 3g chitosan can be best applied to epoxy emulsion, because of the low concentration of weak acid can reduce free hydrogen ions in the waterborne epoxy emulsion system, and solve the problem of the degradation of chitosan, the dosage and variety of emulsifier influence the stability of waterborne epoxy emulsion system most notably. Through experiments, the best effect is 5g 25% emulsifier BEZ-25 solution used. It shows that the waterborne epoxy coating has evidently advance on alkali resistance and weather resisting property, it has a better developing foreground.
