| This paper focuses on research on the following two aspects:(1) Development of Basalt fiber reinforced polymers of RF-BFRP;(2) Based on Ep-BFRP, Pinus sylvestris and RF resin were used to manufacture BFRP/wood glulam. The delamination of adhesive performance was tested according to Japanese JAS 255 standard and shear strength according to ASTM D 2559 . Conclusions are as follows:(1)The study of RF-BFRP on tension strength and bending strength indicates that: molding temperature is the most influential factor, then comes molding time and molding pressure. The best craft solution is the condition in which molding temperature is 90℃, heat pressure is 7MPa and gluing time is 40min.(2)The stability of tension and bending strength varies in a large range, and the bending strength of RF-BFRP is less than that of UP , whose strength is less than that of PF and Ep-BFRP.(3) The bonding performance of the Ep-BFRP/wood composites which is bonded with RF reisn and processed with HMR-I and HMR-II indicates that: the bonding property of wood/wood is the best, then comes HMR-II lamination/Ep-BFRP and HMR-I lamination/Ep-BFRP. Compared with wood coupling HMR-II in the Vacuum Pressure delamination and boiling delamination, the average delamination of HMR-I is greater. The average delamination of both HMR-I and HMR-II is far greater than that of wood. The resin performance of the Ep-BFRP/wood composites which is bonded with RF resin indicates that: gluing time is the most influential factor, then comes gluing quantity and pressure. Compared with wood coupling HMR-II in the dry state shear tests, HMR-I is better and wood/wood is worse. Compared with wood coupling HMR-I in the wet state shear tests, wood/wood is better and HMR-II is worse.More study needs to be made before using the Ep-BFRP into engineering application. |
