Electroplating wastewater is a major source of pollution in industrial production. Heavy metal waste water has brought tremendous damage to the environment. The development trend of electroplating industry is centralized management, and gradually achieves plating in the park. There are high content and many kinds of heavy metals in electroplating wastewater in the park. Heavy metal plating waste water treatment by sulfur concentrate has a good environmental benefits and economic benefits.The high grade ore sulfur from Jinduicheng Molybdenum Company was used for treating heavy metal plating waste water, for wastewater containing chromium, including Cr, Ni waste water, heavy metal plating integrated wastewater treatment. The pH, temperature, dosage mix round time and other factors were researched.It showed the fit conditions for electroplating wastewater treatment.Heavy metal waste water treatment by sulfur concentrate will be able to reach a wastewater discharge standards under appropriate conditions. The treatment for mixed waste water is more effective than single heavy metal waste water. In a wide pH range, the treatment for the waste water containing Cr, Ni, Cu and Zn has high efficiency. The treatment can adjust the pH to a certain range. Wastewater treatment process does not produce hydrogen sulfide gas for air pollution. The heavy metals in dregs will not dissolve again in the different environmental conditions.Heavy metal plating waste water treatment by sulfur concentrate can meet the requirements of environmental protection, but also expands the use of sulfur concentrate. The valuable metals in wastewater can be into the appropriate form of sulfide minerals, to achieve the recycling of resources. For the dual requirements of "innocuity" and "resources", it is a good method of comprehensive management for wastewater.
