AP and RDX are two kinds of most widely-used high-energy oxidant among current Energetic Materials. The decomposition speed of AP and RDX in energetic materials influenced importantly to the energy characteristic and safety capability. Therefore, It is an important investigation task for many people how to adjust and control the decomposition flow of oxidant. This article pointed that Neutral Colorant includes metal ion, through thermal analysis methods investigated the thermal decomposition flow variety of AP and RDX on Neutral Colorant, sorted to get those Neutral Colorants that have obvious catalyzing effect on thermal decomposition of oxidant, discovered that colorant Neutral Blue BNL has the strong catalyzing effect on the thermal decomposition process of AP and RDX.According to two kinds of most common thermal decomposition Kinetic equation : Kissenger method and Ozawa method , controlled different calefactive speeds during Catalyzing decomposition, researched the Catalyzing thermal decomposition Kinetics of two kinds of oxidants, and proved the relativity between Kissenger method and Ozawa method.
