With the mineral resources increasingly deficient, tiny, complicated, their flotation becomes more and more difficult, but the requirement for the mineral raw materials of high quality and nonferrous metals is rising continuously with the development of national economic. How to alleviate the contradiction by carrying out the comprehensive utilization of mineral resources to keep national economic sustainable development has been one of great immediate significance in present flotation scientific and technological fields. Jamesonite,pyrrhotite and marmatite are important Pb,Sb,Zn and Fe mineral resource in China, and the separation of them is hotspot in mineral processing field.so to empolder and find the new type collectors is very important. In this study,four series of Aryl thiolate collectors are used to separate three mineral.Flotation results show that 2-Amino thiophenol and 2-Hydroxy thiophenol exhibit better Flotation Property than Butyl xanthate for marmatite. And the Flotation Property of the others are not very good;For jamesonite the four Aryl thiolate compounds are all worse than Butyl xanthate.And the four Aryl thiolate compounds can collect pyrite when pH<4.The action mechanism and mineral-reagent interaction are discussed according to the result of infrared spectroscopy and computational quantum chemistry.
