Some of problems in distillation technology process are studied using Excel, Matlab and Aspen plus.In batch distillation, based on researching quantitatively to fix the reflux ratio by means of Excel in details as an example of n-heptane and n-octane, it discovers that there are some of inappropriate in reference, finds out the corrective. It is shown to calculate quantitatively to fix overhead component by means of chaining Microsoft Word with Matlab Notebook as an example of n-heptane and n-octane, and gets the facts that relationship between components of liquid within the still and reflux ratio of R is Xw = -0.0012R~3 + 0.0276R~2 - 0.2217R + 0.7581, witch is third-order power function, then in speaking economically the component at ending operation is not less than 0.14, and that magnitude of dx effecting on operating time calculated is T = 7.0729dx~2 + 0.045dx + 2.5648, in light of, accurate operation time is limit value of the equation. In Continuous distillation, completed the simulation of the separation of N-hexane from raffinate aromatic oil by using Aspen Plus. Distillation process including packing tower and plate tower modules, simulation results and industry data agree well. Through sensitivity analysis to the feed position,Reflux retio and distillate rate, finds out the order of parameters changes.at last, meet the product requirements through the optimization of operating parameters commissioned by Karamay Kang Jia limited liability company.
